Femi's Heart Foundation
A wide acacia clearing at golden hour in central Benin — the land given to the foundation for the Madengbe and Zaphe clinic.

Madengbe & Zaphe · Benin, West Africa

Twenty thousand lives, on twenty-seven acres given.

A medical clinic, solar power, clean water — built where the gap between care and need has always been widest.

An invocation

Praise God from whom all blessings flow. We begin by giving all the glory to the Almighty, who is making a way where there seemed to be no way. He is the architect of this vision, opening doors that no man can shut, and using Femi's Heart Foundation and Global Partners in Hope to bring tangible hope to nations and generations to come.

The land was given. We are building what it asked for.

Madengbe and Zaphé are two villages in central Benin's Glazoué commune. Healthcare access here falls well below the national average of 86.4%. In 2023, 27 acres of land were given to Femi's Heart Foundation. On May 13, 2026, in partnership with Global Partners in Hope, we signed the agreement to build.

A rural Béninoise village in the Glazoué commune at golden hour — the third most populated district in the region.

Why this clinic, why here

Madengbé sits in the Zaffé district within the Glazoué commune — the third most populated district in the region. Healthcare infrastructure here is dilapidated; the roads make transporting pregnant women and the sick to distant hospitals nearly impossible. Many medical emergencies result in preventable deaths during the journey to seek care.
