Power and water
Solar + clean water
Solar power system installation and clean-water infrastructure across the four village cluster.

Madengbe & Zaphe · Benin, West Africa
A medical clinic, solar power, clean water — built where the gap between care and need has always been widest.
An invocation
Praise God from whom all blessings flow. We begin by giving all the glory to the Almighty, who is making a way where there seemed to be no way. He is the architect of this vision, opening doors that no man can shut, and using Femi's Heart Foundation and Global Partners in Hope to bring tangible hope to nations and generations to come.
Madengbe and Zaphé are two villages in central Benin's Glazoué commune. Healthcare access here falls well below the national average of 86.4%. In 2023, 27 acres of land were given to Femi's Heart Foundation. On May 13, 2026, in partnership with Global Partners in Hope, we signed the agreement to build.

Why this clinic, why here
Madengbé sits in the Zaffé district within the Glazoué commune — the third most populated district in the region. Healthcare infrastructure here is dilapidated; the roads make transporting pregnant women and the sick to distant hospitals nearly impossible. Many medical emergencies result in preventable deaths during the journey to seek care.

The annual mission
250+ backpacks and school supplies distributed to children across the four villages each year.
Academic support and life-skills mentoring for orphans and disadvantaged youth, including three adopted orphans in our partnered orphanage.
Vocational training centre — sewing, culinary arts, computer literacy, hospitality. Designed for orphans and disadvantaged youth transitioning into adulthood, empowering girls to avoid early marriage and exploitation.
Financial assistance AND postnatal visits for mothers recovering from C-section deliveries — so families can be together through recovery.
A dedicated inpatient wing within the Madengbe clinic — care for the children who could not reach Femi's transplant in time.
Helping families secure legal identity documents so children can enrol in school and access health services.
Daily meals for school-age children in partnered villages — removing hunger as a barrier to learning.
Volunteer-led tutoring for primary and secondary students, focused on literacy and mathematics.
Free health screenings · Community wellness workshops · Education & Hygiene Kits for Secondary School Girls · Mother & Child Hospital visit (C-section mothers & newborn babies) · Orphanages visit (3 adopted orphans + additional partnered children) · Trauma-informed care support for vulnerable girls rebuilding their futures. Preventative checkups for 300–500 youth each year.
Annual blood drive in partnership with the Benin Red Cross — the blood she needed, she now helps others find, on two continents.
Each year — 40+ families through Siblings Support · 40+ mothers reunited through C-section assistance · 160+ children cared for in orphanages · 70+ young girls supported through healing & restoration · breast-cancer screenings for university students.
